Just back from a weeks break away, seeing family and friends back in my Scottish homeland. The weather was unbelieveably good for March and we drunk in the scenery. On our first day we took a wander down the fishing quay in the sun, spotting the Scottish equivelent of a cruise ship moored at the end.

So when you're back in Scotland you have to: A) drink Irn Bru and B) eat deep fried Haggis !! The orange colours on the Irn Bru tin inadvertently influenced my outfit, with an orange-and-berry version of Leopard print on my jacket and orange-and-berry coloured flowers on my snood-scarf.

I love this jacket, the out of the ordinary colour combo combined with a classic heritage quilted style is right up my street!! It's a brilliant light jacket for throwing on during the spring months too. What's in your spring basics?

.....Taking the dog for a walk along the seafront on a glorious spring day..... there was a tiny bite of cold in the wind, but with the sun on your back it felt fantastic!! Thought the graffiti wall at the road underpass made a good backdrop for photos, even though the vista of the loch was on the other side.

This outfit was all about the shoes...... even though it was the first time I'd worn them and we walked a fair distance, they were really comfy. And the distressed red finish just adds a colourful pop to any casual outfit.... they are going to get a lot of wear!!

What I wore at the weekend, to go out for pizza and a few beers afterwards in a cosy wee bar that we like. Nice and relaxed was how we rolled.......

I'm a sucker for a cute print so this top was a winner for me, and the shoes were the bargain of the century (reduced from £42 to £10-50)!! They are very high but suprisingly comfortable too..... always a good thing!
