Induction functional

Sorry I haven't posted for ages......it has been a busy couple of weeks. Shortened version of events is I GOT THE JOB !! ......So my outfit choice worked out! Today happened to be my first day, with the focus on induction (ie lots of policy stuff and paperwork), so I needed a simple comfy outfit to carry me through the day.......

Glamorous it aint.......functional it certainly is........

Interview chic

So I had a job interview today (the first in nearly 7 years !!) ......nerve- racking but got through it. As it was a job at the more artistic end of the spectrum I wanted to go for something smart but not all black, with a wee touch of quirkiness thrown in for good measure. Business-like but with a touch of personality..... if there is such a thing ?!
I plumped for a cute dress with multi-coloured bows on it, tempered with a really smart blazer and finished off with wedge heeled mary-janes:

In celebration of glorious spring weather, I have put together this inspiration moodboard:

I heart this top, the zingy floral print is a total winner! I've given it some edge with skinny bleach jeans, skyscraper colourblock heels and a colourpop clutch. There is only one problem with this outfit.....everything is affordable except for the shoes......they are Louboutins what more do I need to say?? They are SERIOUSLY gorgeous though so I just had to include them !!
