More snaps from my wee trip to Dublin....... this was our first night in the city, when we went and sampled fine ales in the Temple Bar (I paid for it the next day though !!).

I teamed this zingy patterned top with cute detailing along with colour pop heels and my wee satchel, topped off with this fab statement necklace which picked out the colours in the top perfectly!

The top is another version of the navy patterned blouse I wore a few weeks ago..... I liked it so much I went back for this other colourway! Do you ever go back for another one of the same?

Got back from Dublin at the weekend, after spending 3 nights in the city as a wee winter getaway. We had a fab time, drinking good beer, seeing Friendly Fires in concert (which was amazing by the way !) and generally chilling out (quite literally coz it was really cold !!).

This is what I wore to travel down on the train, you just cannae beat a jumper dress for warmth and comfort, and this one has such a cute little ditsy print. Worn with biker boots, a colour pop winter jacket and a cute khaki bobble scarf to pick out the colours from the dress. I love the cut of the coat too..... it's just so flattering !! The sunglasses brooches added an ironic twist lol !!

Winter florals

An outfit of items I am really digging at the moment......... the T-shirt is a real favourite, I just wish I had managed to get my hands on some of the other gorgeous Cacharel designs before they sold out at Uniqlo earlier this year.

The jeans are lovely quality and a great fit, with a slightly capri cut on the leg (ie they have the slightest flare which is really cute !)...... they are also one of the few pairs I have been able to get with a short leg (its a tough life being a shorty lol !!).

The shoes are new......a birthday present from my mum (thanks mum !!) and the caramel distressed leather, along with the wooden wedge heel, make them cute and versatile all at the same time !! Methinks I will get a lot of wear out of these, and they are comfy too !!

.....Just enjoying long walks with the pooch at the moment, even on blustery autumn days there is nothing like it to blow the cobwebs away!! Needless to say, my outfits the last few weeks have been more on the practical side.

In keeping with the autumn feel at the moment, I wore deep berry shades (I love these tesco skinny jeans, they fit so well). My big warm duffle coat kept the cool breeze at bay too!!

So anyone else enjoy the autumn months? ....... because as long as the rain stays off I find there is something very refreshing about this time of year........

The last few weeks have been hectic to say the least......with a job interview at work to convert my temporary contract to a permanent contract, a lovely visit from my mum, my 35th birthday and (last but not least) a new addition to our household (yes you guessed it the dog!!).

The photos were taken over the weekend up at the north coast, when we took the doggie for a good run on the beach. The weather was gorgeous.......one of those crisp autumn days with the sun out and big rolling waves crashing in with the brisk breeze !!! Not one of my most glamorous outfits though lol !!

A quick outfit post today, as I am suffering from a self-inflicted sore head !!

This is what I wore last night (the cause of said sore head), when we went out for Tapas followed by a bit of a hardcore boogie to Felix da Housecat. Great to meet up with friends and have a few drinks. I got the blouse last week.......the wee pleat detail on the armholes is super cute and the colours are lovely. It's also the first time I have worn this necklace, which I love and which one of our friends turned up wearing as well.... hell we both have good taste !!

......just LOVING my coloured jeans at the moment !! They are just so versatile and I love creating intense colour combinations with them.

I've taken the peacock print on the T-shirt as my starting point, and combined jewel-toned blue and aqua shades to work in with the peacock theme. Deep, rich autumnal shades are rocking my world !!

Photos from a couple of weekends ago, when I was in Glasgow for a girlie weekend !! Yes that is a lilac fluffy tiara on my head in the second photo, we had our own karaoke booth in a bar for our dinner and it came complete with dressing up box !! We had a lot of fun and a chance to catch up, as a few of us no longer live in my hometown.

I LOVE my dress that I wore, it fits like a glove and the tulip shape is so flattering. And that print !!! I'm a sucker for a gorgeous zingy print as you well know !! With flashes of yellow (including my nails !) and cobalt blue accents (the earrings and on my shoes) I felt all dressed up for a nite out on the town with my best buds...........

A casual outfit for a casual evening, with my new camel skinnys making an appearance. They are a great basic that go with absolutely everything!!

The top is one I've had for a couple of years, I love the muted jade tones and the art-deco style floral print, it's a bit unusual. The same could be said about the quirky chain-link aqua pendant !!

Been knackered this week, after a month of juggling work with a full-on bathroom refurb it's catching up on me. I've also got this weekend away in Scotland, catching up with my friends in the homeland........it's gonna be so much fun but a well earned rest will be in order next week !! Some photos from the bank holiday weekend, when we were up on the north coast. We were up there for the annual Mini car run, where hundreds of old and new minis turn out for a run around the sea front in Portrush! The other half had been working none stop to get our little runabout looking resplendent for the run !! The weather wasn't great but we had a good wee day regardless.

Outfit - wise, comfort was key, which gave me the chance to wear my new Fly wedges (they are SO comfy). I love the colours and the detail on these wedges, and the fact that they give me a wee bit of height whilst still being so damm comfy is a win-win in my book!!! They are just so distinctive in style too.....

I picked out the colours from my shoes with a multi stripe marl t-shirt and a wee stripy ring, and topped it off with my lovely coral beads. I also did my nails (a rare thing) in a lovely Peppermint colour for an added summery edge (Rimmel Lycra Pro colour 500). Easy-going and relaxed is the way I rolled at the weekend !!

Just a wee photo from weeks ago that I never got round to posting, it was taken when we attended a friend's wedding.

I love getting dressed up for these occasions, but I also hate to feel overdressed so I always try and pick something with a hint of a relaxed edge. I know, that sounds like a complete contradiction of terms but that's just me !! That's why I picked a lovely patterned dress in luxe silk crepe fabric, but which has an almost T-shirt style front !! The teal shoes I just love, they will be getting a lot of wear methinks !!

Yes I have been missing for a few weeks now........although I have a vaild excuse !! In the last three weeks there really hasn't been enough hours in the day.

I have been getting up for 5am starts, been really busy at work, then come home to work on our bathroom refurbishment for hours every night, followed by 4-5 hours sleep (soooo not enough!!!). Along with this precious lack of spare time, the most glamorous thing I have worn in said 3 weeks is a grout encrusted old T-shirt and sawdust covered combat trousers, complete with dusty hair from all the tiling we've done. Not exactly inspiring stuff to blog about lol !!!!!!

Thankfully, the bathroom is very nearly finished and the last two nights we have given ourselves the night off in order to get our heads showered (I was so tired I was a complete zombie!!!). So I have actually managed to do some outfit shots!!!

These are from last night, when we went to see Primal Scream at Belsonic, which is a series of concerts held in Custom House Square in the heart of Belfast. I went for a rock edge and big cleated boots for comfort. We had a brilliant night, the highlight of which is when they played "Come Together"........brilliant!!! Needless to say the head was a bit sore come this morning though lol !!!!!!

A summery outfit for a gorgeous sunny day !! I adore these coral jeans from Dorothy Perkins...... they fit like a dream and the colour is so lovely and intense !! I love them so much that I am going to get another pair in a different colour tommorrow !!
